Carrie Underwood & Amy Grant Lead a Powerful Night as the Grand Ole Opry Turns Pink for a Cause .m

The Grand Ole Opry is set to shine brighter than ever this October as two icons — Carrie Underwood and Amy Grant — unite for one of Nashville’s most heartfelt traditions: Opry Goes Pink.

On Saturday, October 25, six-time Grammy winner Amy Grant will take the honorary role of flipping the switch to light the Opry’s iconic barn backdrop glowing pink, marking the start of the 17th annual celebration in support of breast cancer awareness and research.

🎤 A Night of Music, Meaning, and Hope

The evening will feature a star-studded lineup, blending generations of Opry talent:

  • Carrie Underwood
  • The Isaacs
  • Mandy Barnett
  • Riders in the Sky
  • Sophia Scott
  • And more surprise guests expected to take the stage

The event continues its partnership with Susan G. Komen, the world’s leading breast cancer nonprofit. For every ticket sold starting October 14, $5 will be donated to fund research, support patients, and fuel life-saving advocacy programs.

This year’s show is presented by Humana and sponsored by Vanderbilt Health, strengthening the event’s mission to support families and survivors across the country.

💗 More Than a Concert — A Community

What began as a musical tribute has grown into a city-wide symbol of unity. Each year, the Opry is bathed in pink light — a powerful visual honoring survivors, remembering those lost, and raising awareness with the help of country music’s biggest voices.

“The Opry Goes Pink night has become one of Nashville’s most meaningful traditions,” event organizers said. “It reminds us that music doesn’t just entertain — it heals and connects us.”

🎶 A Season of Celebration for the Opry’s 100th Year

The pink-lit evening is just one highlight in a historic year for the Opry, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a series of special performances leading up to a grand finale on November 11.

That closing night will feature:

  • Vince Gill (Amy Grant’s husband)
  • Emmylou Harris
  • James Taylor (making his Opry debut)
  • Craig Morgan
  • Jamey Johnson
  • Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dan Band
  • Scotty Hasting, and more
